Game Info :
Serial Lufia RPG series to me is a laudable. Even to this day even if there are people who ask me the best SNES RPG I would answer without hesitation "Lufia II: Rise of the Sinistrals". That's right there in the SNES Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy VI, Super Mario RPG until the deified by many as the best SNES RPGs but in my eyes can not be juxtaposed with the three Lufia II. Unfortunately that after Lufia II series has been steadily declining popularity. Lufia and Lufia III: Ruins of Lore spelled failure so that this franchise was dormant for many years.

In 2009 the news about the remake of Lufia II: Rise of the Sinistrals began to emerge. My feeling continues to oscillate during its production. Hearing the name of Square Enix be producer makes me pessimistic, then I know that the group still Natsume developer and the people who worked on the original Lufia II first, I was excited 45 straight again. Then I saw the artwork of Maxim and colleagues and the limp seeing their design overhauled. But 3D screenshots from the game looks pretty amazing so my spirits back up ... and so on. And finally this game is present in my hand.

Out of nowhere came the figure named Gades. From the top of the island called Doom Island, he launched a terror to mankind. A monster hunter named Maxim called to try to stop the Gades. It's a pity that Gades force too powerful to be balanced by Maxim. The red-haired hero was also defeated. Fortunately just before Maxim Gades finished off by a priestess named Iris to help him. Iris also that tells Maxim that he has the strength and potential in him to beat Gades. Maxim needs to be done is to look for colleagues who have the potential to like him. Maxim journey begins.

Create a gamer who has played Lufia II will realize that Natsume has made some reforms here and there in the story. Some are simple changes but a few more somewhat more fundamental, such as how Guy is now no longer comes from a village called Tanbel but compatriot page with Selan in Parcelyte. But don’t worry, the story is still 95% following the path of Lufia II is a long story with a twist on his New Game Plus.

And that means good news. I admit that from the SNES era before Lufia II: Rise of the Sinistrals not have an elaborate way like Final Fantasy VI or a bold theme like Chrono Trigger. In fact, the story follows fairly standard RPG clichés: the heroes (here represented by Maxim et al) are against the retainer of darkness (represented by Sinistrals). But what makes Lufia so memorable is a row of character. Maxim, Tia, Selan, Guy, Dekar, and Artea all have different personalities and make digging them and follow their characters become fun adventure in itself. With artwork picture here, gamers are also increasingly easy to feel the emotion of each character.
