Finally, Square Enix confirmed the official name of Kingdom Hearts will be released to 3DS, through the latest trailer at Square Enix 1st Premier's Department. Entitled 3D KH (Dream Drop Distance), this game will provide a new playing experience for all fans of KH series. The focus is Sora and Riku, the two main protagonists in the series, and you will play a second character in turn.
And the style of play they will be far different, and different storyline. Even Tetsuya Nomura himself confirmed that a second control character will be totally different! It's really intriguing. Substitution between Sora and Riku characters here are not things you can do as they pleased, because the game system was the one who will replace the two characters.
The theme of this game is a "bold actions", where Tetsuya want to give the evolution of an action RPG in the KH series. Even according to him, the action here will be far more excited than the BBS. "By playing this game, you might understand how the KH III will evolve later on," says Tetsuya Nomura. Can be seen in the trailer, where Sora seen leaping to and fro and round and round on a pole with his Keyblade before attacking the Shadow. Or just look at Riku action that jumps from one wall to another wall and attack the Shadow of the above.
Surely there will be a new world here, as seen in the trailer where Sora was in a bell tower with a bell that rings. New Disney World will also be presented here, although Tetsuya itself is still not confirmed with certainty. That may be the question is, why Sora and Riku are here displayed in their original form (the first KH). Tetsuya inform, that the past they become one part of the story, and later throughout the game they will change, especially for the costume.
