Grasshopper Manufacture led by Goichi "Suda51", Suda is preparing a new hunting zombie-themed game called Lollipop Chainsaw which will be released on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
According to Famitsu, Lollipop Chainsaw will tell you a cheerleader named Juliet Starling who is a descendant of the family of a zombie hunter. On 18th birthday, a group of zombies appeared in her school. As mentioned in the title game, she was using a chainsaw to kill zombies.
Normally in a zombie game we will find blood splattered anywhere, but not in the Lollipop Chainsaw. "When split, the zombies will not bleed, but a kind of light pink. We want this game feels more 'pop'." Goichi Suda said.
"Because she was a cheerleader, there will be movements that utilize the expertise possessed cheerleader Juliet. There are other ways to attack the zombies apart with a saw, and the fun part is figuring out the right movement for use in certain moments." said Yoshimi Yasuda, president of Kadokawa Games, the publisher of the Lollipop Chainsaw.
As in the Shadow of the Damned (Another game from Grasshopper Manufacture), a composer game Akira Yamaoka will be responsible to handle the music for this game. There has been no release date for the Lollipop Chainsaw, but Yasuda ensure existing foreign publisher who will release this game in English.
