Today, Sony announced a plan investment of USD $ 20 million over three years to support the development of the PlayStation Network for several exclusive titles like the first portfolio and also Pubs Fund, a program devoted to independent developers.
"PlayStation Network is ready to deliver a sequence of exclusive games and imaginative this year, with the highly anticipated first titles such as their game Journey and PixelJunk sidescroller," said Brandon Stander, director of marketing PlayStation Network at SCEA.
"We're doubling the PlayStation Network software, and as part of additional investment over the next three years, we anticipate a steady flow for the title will not be found anywhere."
Four games announced as part of an investment, so far are: Eufloria, Okabu, Payday: The Heist, and Papo Yo. Pub Fund was first announced at the Game Developers Converence in 2009. This program provides developers funding to create exclusive titles for the PlayStation Network.
