Silent Hill Shattered Memories is the seventh installment of the Silent Hill series. It's developed by Climax Studios and published by Konami. It was first released for Wii on December 8, 2009 and then turn into Play Station 2 on January 19, 2010. Silent Hill: Shattered Memories would not be different from the original version, in which Harry Mason, in search of her daughter, must pass through snow-covered streets in Silent Hill is haunted.

Please also note that Silent Hill: Shattered Memories is absolutely not a remake or a re-imagining, although in fact this game has a similar event like the first Silent Hill. Here, you will act as Harry Mason hit by accident on the way and also in the midst of a snowstorm. When he awoke, he saw that his daughter had disappeared and he finally tried to find his son was in a horrible town called Silent Hill. If you've never played the PlayStation version, then you surely will feel familiar with all the given plot. But not to worry, because the road has created a different story here.

In the early scenes of this game, you will be faced with a series of scenes from the past Harry in a psychiatrist's office. After a while, the psychiatrist provides a form called Garner Sobel Personality Inventory Form which has some of the statements that you should mark (statements True or False) by using Wiimote support. All you have to do here is to mark what you think is right. Well, this is where the element that distinguishes between Silent Hill: Shattered Memories with Silent Hill is normal. When you start filling it out, then the games themselves have started to record all your profile and eventually the game will change according to what you do or you mark. Oh yes, all this is a flashback of Harry, so do not be confused.

Back again to the real world now where Harry was confused to find her son, she continually chanted his name. After a while, he found a flashlight. As already noted above, all your actions will affect the course of this game. Ranging from the characters that you meet, how they treat you and many more other things. For example, when Harry enters an office that has been abandoned, then this game will begin to analyze all your actions. If you simply open the map, then this game will consider you as a practical man and so on. Most likely, all the decisions you take will affect the game and it is not possible you also will be confronted with the consequences of your handiwork.

For example, if in fact the form you are someone who is more inclined to a drunk, then later in the game, there is a restaurant that turns into a bar and it was just one of many surprises provided by Climax. We also recognize that in this way, Climax will be able to give a game that will not be boring, unpredictable and you will never be peace with the environment around you that is creepy.

Then there's also a new feature where you can take photos using a mobile phone you have. Phones that you have had an important role during the game. In addition to functioning as a map, phone and some other useful functions, the phone will also function as a tool that will tell whatever information you want and even you can use to photograph something that seemed strange. The most concrete example here is when Harry was walking and he passed a children's playground abandoned. When he noticed one corner of the playground, he realizes that there are parts of the park that looks like a static screen and finally he decided to photograph the section. In the results shown in the screen cell phone, she saw her daughter who then will resume again with a voicemail that contains a warning from her daughter. All of this really gives an impression that quite scary.
