World of Tank is a MMO Action Game that focuses on the battle between tanks. This game alone has won numerous awards, including Best Online Client Game, Best New Concept, Best Free MMORPG, until an award from the Guinness World Record for the online gaming category with the most players in one server. This is what made me pretty curious and determined to download the game client is at 1.75 GB, indeed quite large as well but just take it easy this online game offered Free to Play. Immediately, we see how great this game online.

Story

This online game takes setting time of World War 2, which at that time the largest tank battle ever occurred. This online game did not present the main story for this online game focusing on battles between tanks of two different camps. World of Tank will serve up to 150 more types of tanks from the United states, Germany and the USSR which are characteristic and model of each tank was adjusted for actual data.

Gameplay

After creating an account and log in to the game. We will be on display hangar that has 3 tanks lightweight that can be used. Hangar tanks can contain up to 5 tanks and can be expanded again by buying new slots. We can sell or buy new, more powerful tanks again with money or credit obtained from winning the battle. Tanks in this game are categorized into 3 classes, namely tanks lightweight class, middle class, and heavy tanks, such as the Tiger II tanks from Germany. The number of tanks which can be accessed and map the game at first was just a little, and later will continue to evolve over a game that will allow us to choose the map the game bigger and complex.

In this online game we could taste the 3 modes of play are offered, namely the Random Battle, Team Battle, and Battle Training. But I am personally more interested in trying to fashion Company Team Battle or Battle as more exciting and chaotic with one map game that can support up to 60 players. The battle between two great teams did not last too rigid, as long as the battle requires cooperation among team members is the key to victory in this game.

On display tank hangar, we can modify the parts of the tank to get better performance. There are 5 important parts that can be modified in a tank, such as replacing a more powerful engine, replacing a stronger hull tanks, wheel chains change their tanks, to replace the main cannon and a better radio communication. This game also offers several types of ammunition with the destructive force that is different, such as armor-piercing bullets to bullets High Explosive Anti Tank. The amount of ammunition that we can bring adjusted to the capacity of each tank. Then we also can carry as many as three kinds of equipment items, such as the Toolbox to improve the speed of repair of damaged parts by 25 percent, Tube CO2 to reduce by 50 per cent of the burning tanks, and so forth. Furthermore we can also bring items that can be consumed during the battle, such as First Aid Kit to heal the wounded tank crew, Repair Kit for repairing the damaged tank, and so forth. Unfortunately, items of consumption are also only allowed to bring 3 different types of items only. So we must be careful in selecting items to carry and use it in appropriate circumstances.

Tactics and strategy in combat is very important in this game, because as strong as any tank has a weakness as an example when I M3 Stuart tank against tank destroyer that was included tanks tough but the tank has a shield behind which a thin side and so when my tank is classy speed of light has good speed and maneuverability, can easily reach the rear position of enemy tanks and beat up the rear shield to inflict damage on the tank engine. Each tank in this game also has a radio communication play a very important role in a team, for example, our tanks are in the very back of distance and because of the limited visibility of a tank, then we cannot see the enemy tanks that are far away in front. However, when tanks fellow team sped to the front and saw enemy tanks, they will inform the tanks we use radio communication and radar tank on us will be immediately detected the position of enemy tanks. Really interesting concept games offered in this online game.

Graphic

Tanks model in this game looks detailed and clear. We can see the smallest parts of the tank, such as jerry cans of fuel, gate valves, etc.. Furthermore, to design the game looks quite nice environment with a variety of objects such as buildings, trees can fall down when the tank hit it, until the hills. But in some object in this game, looks gloomy and less detailed and the effects were less prominently featured in this game. Overall, the graphics quality is still the standard and do not look luxurious when compared to games today.

Overall

It must be admitted; this online game makes us addicted because of its micromanagement feature in modifying tank to become the strongest and the fierce battle among tanks become a specific preoccupation of this game.
