Dragon Quest IX brings together the core of the components that made the previous series a success. For the first time, action-oriented DQ franchise. Contests take place in the field such as in Crystal Chronicles.

Seeing so much demand, Square Enix said it had anticipated this. It says, if they have shipped the game to 3 million. So, there are still 1 million reserves that are still waiting for that sale.
Previously, Square Enix will delay the launch of the game Dragon Quest IX (DQ IX) for the Nintendo DS version. Originally DQ IX will be launched on March 28, 2009, but due to financial conditions Square postpones the game until 11 July.
Delays, DQ IX, it also will impact the launch of another Square game, Final Fantasy XIII for PlayStation 3 platform. Final Fantasy XIII plan is scheduled to be launched in Japan in 2009, but due to delays DQ IX, it is likely to be released in 2010.
"Delays possible impact on the Dragon Quest Final Fantasy, we have not fully completed a strategic plan for the coming period, I have yet to confirm it, but Dragon Quest is certainly we delay," said President of Square Enix, Yoichi Wada.
