After the Circle of the Moon, now Konami kicked off the market again with Harmony of Dissonance GBA. Presumably GBA is currently the handheld which was invaded by a variety of 2D games. Capcom re-released their 2D RPG, titled Breath of Fire, and a new RPG, titled Megaman Battle Network, their 2D fighting game Street Fighter Alpha 3, as well as side-scrolling action, Megaman Zero. SNK released King of Fighters EX: Neo Blood. Nintendo with Super Mario World series and Metroid Fusion. Konami seems not to be outdone and soon issued their legendary Castlevania series.

Stories in Harmony of Dissonance is opened when Maxim, a friend from Belmont juste came back from his trip in a state of injury and memory loss. He delivered shocking news that Lydie, their friend had been kidnapped. Maxim is a guide for Juste to come to a place which is believed to Maxim as a place of confinement Lydie. Could it be that they attended an ancient castle that is the legendary castle of Dracula? Inside, the two friends are separated in order to search for Lydie, and from this point of your adventure, as Juste started.

Harmony of Dissonance brings us a new gameplay system called Fusion Spell. Since Juste, though bearing the name of the Belmont family is actually a descendant of Sylphe. Absolutely, for fans of the classic Castlevania series would not be familiar with the name of a witch who had helped eradicate adventure Trevor Belmont in Dracula. Surely Juste also mastered various types of magic. Secondary weapons still present in this Castlevania series (Knife, sacred fist, holy books, and holy water, cross, ax). Here we will also find 5 spell books. Here Spell Fusion system to work. How? Combine one of the existing spell books with the sub weapon owned Juste, Juste then will issue a new moment!

Some sub-quests are also provided by Konami in this series. Some of the hidden spell book provided. Graphics in Harmony of Dissonance is very beautiful and fluid, almost approaching the graphics Symphony of the Night PSX property. It's just seems too resemble Juste character with the character Alucard, shadow effect appears when Juste move was privileged to handheld size. For a 2D adventure GBA game, it's only Megaman Zero from Capcom that is able to counter this Harmony of Dissonance.

Finally, Harmony of Dissonance is a GBA title that deserves to be collected, no matter whether you are a fan of Castlevania or not. It's also a good example that some games are still to be in his world as a 2D game. Castlevania is real evidence for it. So ... are you ready to face The Wrath of Dracula?
