Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker is an action adventure game of modern and developed by Kojima Productions and released by Konami. The game is expected to be released in the year 2010.

This new operation will be continued in the sequel that has been rumored for some time on PSP, Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops. Unlike the expansion pack Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops +, this is a new sequel of the story is incorporated with the existing events in the Metal Gear franchise.

Since the existence of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, Metal Gear Solid main series (does not include spin-offs such as Ghost Babel and Acid) seems divided in two timeline. The first is a timeline that begins with Solid Snake from Metal Gear to Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, while the second is a timeline of Naked Snake / Big Boss which starts in MGS 3 continued in the new game Portable Ops and Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker.

The Untold Stories of the Big Boss

Hideo Kojima seems to really love the PSP platform. Although the two games Metal Gear Acid and Metal Gear Solid Portable Ops fail to achieve satisfactory sales that he was still working on games for Sony's portable system. Even the Peace Walker had previously touted as Metal Gear Solid 5 because it has a team of developers who do not lose big with MGS 4 and directly handled by the Kojima! With a team of developers can be sure Hideo Kojima is not playing games or just a side considers this project alone. This really is the third chapter in the life of The Big Boss!

Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker Intro

A little spoiler, after ending Portable Ops, Snake and then establish the unity that he named MSF Mercenary, abbreviation of Militaires Sans Frontieres, which means Army without Borders. The story in Peace Walker started when Snake and his partner Miller (Master Miller) was contacted and asked to help resolve conflicts in Costa Rica. Because the state does not have an army so it can not stop a mysterious group of soldiers who entered the country. However, for the Snake, the mission is more than just prevent the outbreak of war between east and west groups but also to find out the fate of his mentor, The Boss.

And personal emotional journey of the Big Boss is what might be my main attraction to play this game. I do not want spoilers but the ending MGS 3 which become hyper occurrence of events at the Peace Walker until now is still the best video game endings.
