Pokémon FireRed (Pocket Monsters FireRed) is a video game released and developed by Nintendo and Game Freak, based on the Pokémon media franchise created by Satoshi Tajiri and Ken Sugimori.

Video gaming is an improvement version of the video game series before, namely Pokémon Red, Blue, and Yellow, released in 1998 and then sold in the market. Pokémon Fire Red and Leaf Green is intended for single-handed console Nintendo Game Boy Advance. The difference with the version of Red, Blue, and Yellow is, in Fire Red / Leaf Green is the color layout or background, while in Red, Blue, and Yellow background is still black and white or chrome.

Fire Red / Leaf Green too many people call a remake version of Red, Blue, and Yellow. This is quite understandable, because in this version (Fire Red / Leaf Green), almost all the elements are still the same as the version of Red, Blue, and Yellow. Red and Blue is still the main character, with the Kanto region as the main storyline. Version of this remake can choose the sex of the character. In addition, Misty and Brock also emerged as the leader of the gym; Team Rocket appears as the villain and the owner of the game corner, and the three starters Pokémon that we can choose, namely Bulbasaur, Charmander, and Squirtle. Like the previous generation, we can produce a Pokemon, additional features of gender, and abilities of each Pokemon. Additional versions of this remake is able to access and Sevii adventure on the island, where we can catch some Pokemon second generation here, and some mini games.

For Pokémon species, in addition to 151 Pokémon species that lives in the Kanto, also added 100 species of Pokémon in Johto, and 135 Pokémon species in Hoenn. However, if we want to get a Pokémon species that exist in Johto and Hoenn, we had to change from Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire to find important items on the island Sevii.
